Spring Valley, California - Introduction: Synopsis: San Diego County Crime Stoppers and the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department’s Homicide Detail continue to look for leads in the 2004 unsolved murder of Edward Harold Ramsey III.
On the evening of June 18, 2004, Edward Harold Ramsey III was walking along the 3000 block of Central Avenue in Spring Valley when he was shot. Witnesses say they saw two black men running from the scene. The men drove away in a white car. Despite paramedics’ best efforts, Ramsey died at the scene.
