The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is teaming with the San Diego Police Department and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office for a community event to get guns off our streets.

Join us this weekend for the United African American Ministerial Action Council's (UAAMAC) Gun Buyback Exchange:

Saturday, June 5
8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Encanto Southern Baptist Church
6020 Akins Avenue
San Diego, CA 92114

Turn in your gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns and $200 for assault rifles) or skateboard.  Remain anonymous.  No questions asked.

Firearms must be functioning in order to qualify.

Prior to your arrival at the event, place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.

A uniformed deputy or police officer will be present to provide instructions.

All weapons collected will be destroyed.
