The San Diego County Sheriff's Office is partnering with the San Diego County District Attorney's Office, Chula Vista Police Department, National City Police Department and California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation Division of Adult Parole Operations (DAPO) to get unwanted guns off our streets. 

Join us for a Gun Safety Event on:

Saturday, December 13
9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
South Bay Superior Court
500 Third Avenue, Chula Vista

Turn in your unwanted gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns, rifles and shotguns and $200 for assault weapons). 

Free gun locks will also be available while supplies last. 

Remain anonymous. No questions asked.

Firearms must be in working order.

Place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.

A deputy or officer will provide instructions.

All weapons collected will be destroyed.
