Position Highlights:
Sheriff’s Emergency Services Dispatchers handle administrative and 9-1-1 emergency calls from the public, assess situations requiring public safety assistance, and dispatch law enforcement, fire, or medical services. Sheriff’s Dispatchers play a crucial role in coordinating responses and ensuring effective communication during emergencies.

Public safety dispatching is a unique and exciting career, which promises both challenges and rewards for motivated individuals. Public safety dispatchers perform a variety of duties in various public safety fields, including law enforcement, fire, medical, humane, and civil services. Several agencies have a critical need to staff vacant positions. Many do not require any experience.
