DESCRIPTION:<p><img src="https://www.sdsheriff.gov/home/showpublishedimage/3300/637581679747730000" alt="Gun Buyback Exchange final resize" style="margin:15px;"></p><p>The San Diego County Sheriff's Department is teaming with the San Diego Police Department and the San Diego County District Attorney's Office for a community event to get guns off our streets.</p><p>Join us this weekend for&nbsp;the United African American Ministerial Action Council's (UAAMAC) Gun Buyback Exchange:</p><p>Saturday, June 5<br>8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.<br>Encanto Southern Baptist Church<br>6020 Akins Avenue<br>San Diego, CA 92114</p><p>Turn in your gun and receive a gift card ($100 for handguns and $200 for assault rifles) or skateboard.&nbsp; Remain anonymous.&nbsp; No questions asked.</p><p>Firearms must be functioning in order to qualify.</p><p>Prior to your arrival at the event, place the unloaded firearm in the trunk of your vehicle.</p><p>A uniformed deputy or police officer will be present to provide instructions.</p><p>All weapons collected will be destroyed.</p>
