DESCRIPTION:<br><p>On March 19, 2005, deputies from the Lemon Grove Sheriff Station responded to the 8000 block of Lemon Grove Way regarding an assault with a deadly weapon. When deputies arrived they found the victim, William Gibbs, lying in the driveway of a residence. Witnesses stated they saw William and two other males talking in front of an apartment complex when two black males approached William and his friends. Both males produced a gun and as William was attempting to get away one of the suspects shot William. The suspects then fled the area on foot.
