On Sunday March 7^th, at about 0253 hours, a vehicle was driving eastbound on Broadway from Lemon Grove Avenue in Lemon Grove.  The driver lost control of her vehicle and collided into a parked vehicle.  The female driver was the only vehicle occupant.  She sustained serious injuries and was transported to Scripps Mercy hospital for treatment.  Despite lifesaving efforts by medical personnel on scene and at the hospital, the driver succumbed to her injuries. The Lemon Grove Traffic Unit is handling the investigation.
