On March 18, 2021, at approximately 12:53 AM, deputies from the Sheriff's San Marcos Station responded to a report of a stabbing at the Copper Creek Apartments at 1744 Elfin Forest Road in San Marcos.  Upon arrival they located the 19-year-old stabbing victim who sustained non-life-threatening injuries. He was transported by ambulance to a local area hospital.  During the investigation, a 13-year-old suspect was identified.  The juvenile was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon and taken to Juvenile Hall.  There are no outstanding suspects.
