A Feather Alert has been issued for a missing teenager from the Pala Indian Reservation. The San Diego County Sheriff's Office wants the public's help in locating her.

On Thursday, October 17, 16-year-old Keira Trujillo was reported as a runaway juvenile to the Valley Center Sheriff's Substation. Surveillance video obtained by deputies shows Trujillo getting into a car on the Pala Indian Reservation. Her last reported sighting was in the Murrieta area in Riverside County. Trujillo's ultimate destination is believed to be Henderson, Nevada. She has previously run away from home and was eventually located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

 
Due to the circumstances of her disappearance, Trujillo is now considered an at-risk missing person.

The Sheriff's Office notified the California Highway Patrol (CHP) to issue a Feather Alert throughout the state. A Feather Alert is a resource available to law enforcement agencies investigating the suspicious or unexplainable disappearance of an Indigenous woman or Indigenous person. The Feather Alert will provide immediate information to the public to aid in the swift recovery of missing Indigenous persons. 

 
Trujillo is an Indigenous girl from the Pala Indian Reservation. She stands around 5'3" tall and weighs about 110 pounds. Trujillo has dirty blonde hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black leggings and black Chuck Taylor shoes. Trujillo was carrying a red backpack.

Persona Desaparecida en Riesgo - Pala

Emiten Alerta de Plumas por adolescente desaparecida.

Se ha emitido una Alerta de Plumas por la desaparición de una adolescente de la Reserva Indígena Pala. La Oficina del Alguacil del Condado de San Diego quiere la ayuda del público para localizarla.

El Jueves 17 de Octubre, Keira Trujillo, de 16 años, fue denunciada como menor de edad fugitiva ante el Valley Center Sheriff's Substation. El video de vigilancia obtenido por los oficiales muestra a Trujillo subiéndose a un coche en la Reserva Indígena Pala. Su último avistamiento reportado fue en el área de Murrieta en el Condado de Riverside. Se cree que el destino final de Trujillo es Henderson, Nevada. Anteriormente se había escapado de su casa y finalmente fue localizada en Las Vegas, Nevada.

Debido a las circunstancias de su desaparición, Trujillo ahora es considerada una persona desaparecida en riesgo.

La Oficina del Alguacil notificó a la Patrulla de Caminos de California (CHP) que emitiera una Alerta de Plumas en todo el estado. Una Alerta de Plumas es un recurso disponible para los organismos encargados de hacer cumplir la ley que investigan la desaparición sospechosa o inexplicable de una mujer o persona Indígena. Una Alerta de Plumas proporcionará información inmediata al público para ayudar en la rápida recuperación de los Indígenas desaparecidos.

Trujillo es una niña Indígena de la Reserva Indígena Pala. Mide alrededor de 5'3" de alto y pesa alrededor de 110 libras. Tiene cabello rubio oscuro y ojos azules. La última vez que la vieron vestía una sudadera con capucha negra, calzas negras y zapatillas Chuck Taylor negras. Llevaba una mochila roja.
