The North Coastal Sheriff's Station wants the public's help to solve a fatal hit-and-run collision in Encinitas. 

On January 19, 2025, just before 7:00 p.m., deputies responded to a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in the 900 block of North Coast Highway 101. The 66-year-old woman who was struck died at the hospital.

 
An investigation by Sheriff's Traffic Deputies found the suspect, who stopped briefly before fleeing the scene, was driving a 2019-2023 gray Audi Q3 (similar to the one seen in the above photo). The car may have damage to the lower left area of the front grille or be missing parts from the grille.

Actualización: Atropello Fatal y Fuga – Encinitas

El North Coastal Sheriff's Station quiere la ayuda del público para resolver una colisión fatal de atropello y fuga en Encinitas.

El 19 de Enero de 2025, poco antes de las 7:00 p.m., los oficiales respondieron a una colisión que involucró a un automóvil y un peatón en la cuadra 900 de North Coast Highway 101. La mujer de 66 años que fue atropellada murió en el hospital.

Una investigación realizada por los oficiales de tránsito del Alguacil encontró que el sospechoso, que se detuvo brevemente antes de huir de la escena, conducía un Audi Q3 gris 2019-2023 (similar al que se ve en la foto de arriba). El automóvil puede tener daños en el área inferior izquierda de la parrilla delantera o faltarle partes de la parrilla.
