At approximately 9 A.M., patrol deputies assigned to the Rancho San Diego Station responded to the 400 block of Grand Avenue, in Spring Valley to assist the Fire Department with a structural fire. Deputies and Fire Department personnel arrived and observed two rear patios of an apartment building engulfed in flames. The residents of the apartment building were safely evacuated as the fire was extinguished. There were no injuries. The residents of the affected apartments were connected with Red Cross for relocation and shelter.

The Sheriff's Bomb/Arson Unit responded and assumed the investigation. Investigators and Fire personnel are continuing the investigation into the cause of the fire.

Incendio Estructural – Spring Valley

Incendio causa daños significativos en edificio de apartamentos

Aproximadamente a las 9 a.m., los oficiales de patrulla asignados a la estación de Rancho San Diego respondieron a la cuadra 400 de Grand Avenue, en Spring Valley, para ayudar al Departamento de Bomberos con un incendio estructural. Los oficiales y el personal del Departamento de Bomberos llegaron y observaron dos patios traseros de un edificio de apartamentos envueltos en llamas. Los residentes del edificio de apartamentos fueron evacuados de manera segura mientras se extinguió el fuego. No hubo heridos. Los residentes de los apartamentos afectados se pusieron en contacto con la Cruz Roja para su reubicación y refugio.

La Unidad de Bombas/Premeditados del Sheriff respondió y asumió la investigación. Los investigadores y el personal de bomberos continúan la investigación sobre la causa del incendio.
