A man was arrested on suspicion of stabbing his wife during an argument and assaulting his child in Imperial Beach.

It happened on Tuesday, September 30, at about 10:00 p.m at a home in the 500 block of 5^th Street. Deputies with the Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation responded after a 16-year-old juvenile called 9-1-1 to report their father had stabbed their mother.

During the initial investigation, it was determined Enos Perez (DOB 10/04/1975) and his wife were involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, the wife suffered a laceration to her head. Perez also assaulted one of his children before fleeing the scene.

Perez was located in National City a short time later, where he was arrested without incident with the assistance of the National City Police Department.

The 36-year-old-woman was taken to a hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The juvenile was treated and released at the scene. Perez was also treated at a hospital for minor injuries that occurred during the original altercation.

Perez was arrested on charges of assault with a deadly weapon, domestic violence and child abuse.

It is the policy of the San Diego County Sheriff's Office not to release identifying information about victims of domestic violence and elder abuse.

Arresto por Violencia Doméstica - Imperial Beach

Sospechoso arrestado en National City.

Un hombre fue arrestado bajo sospecha de apuñalar a su esposa durante una discusión y agredir a su hijo en Imperial Beach.

El incidente ocurrió el Martes 30 de Septiembre, alrededor de las 10:00 p.m., en una vivienda ubicada en la cuadra 500 de la Calle 5. Oficiales de la Subestación del Alguacil de Imperial Beach acudieron al lugar después de que un menor de 16 años llamara al 9-1-1 para denunciar que su padre había apuñalado a su madre.

Durante la investigación inicial, se determinó que Enos Pérez (fecha de nacimiento: 10/04/1975) y su esposa estuvieron involucrados en una pelea. Durante la pelea, la esposa sufrió una laceración en la cabeza. Pérez también agredió a uno de sus hijos antes de huir del lugar.

Poco después, Pérez fue localizado en National City, donde fue arrestado sin incidentes con la ayuda del Departamento de Policía de National City.

La mujer de 36 años fue trasladada a un hospital para recibir tratamiento por lesiones que no ponían en peligro su vida. La menor recibió atención médica y fue dada de alta en el lugar. Pérez también recibió atención médica en un hospital por lesiones leves ocurridas durante el altercado original.

Pérez fue arrestado por cargos de agresión con arma mortal, violencia doméstica y abuso infantil.
