The Imperial Beach Sheriff's Substation and San Diego County Crime Stoppers want your help in identifying and locating a suspect who stole a vintage car in Imperial Beach.

It happened on Tuesday, October 21, around 2:00 a.m., in the 500 block of Calle Avenue.
According to Sheriff's Detectives, someone stole a red 1960 Chevrolet Impala with California License Plate JCL527 (seen in the above photo) that was parked on the street.

A home surveillance camera captured an image of the suspect pushing the car from the location. The suspect appears to be wearing a dark-colored hooded sweater, dark pants and white shoes.

The quality of the above image is poor, but detectives say they hope someone who might have seen something the night of the crime will come forward.

Anyone with information on the identity/location of the suspect or the victim’s car is asked to call the Imperial Beach Sheriff’s Substation at (619) 498-2400.

Robo de Auto - Imperial Beach

Necesitamos la ayuda del público para identificar al sospechoso.

La Subestación del Alguacil de Imperial Beach y el programa Crime Stoppers del Condado de San Diego solicitan su ayuda para identificar y localizar a un sospechoso que robó un auto clásico en Imperial Beach.

El incidente ocurrió el Martes 21 de Octubre, alrededor de las 2:00 a.m., en la cuadra 500 de la Avenida Calle.

Según los detectives del Alguacil, alguien robó un Chevrolet Impala rojo de 1960 con placas de California JCL527 (que se ve en la foto de arriba) que estaba estacionado en la calle.

Una cámara de vigilancia doméstica captó una imagen del sospechoso empujando el auto. El sospechoso vestía una sudadera con capucha oscura, pantalones oscuros y zapatos blancos.

La calidad de la imagen es baja, pero los detectives esperan que alguien que haya visto algo la noche del robo se presente.

Se solicita a cualquier persona que tenga información sobre la identidad o el paradero del sospechoso o del vehículo de la víctima que llame a la Subestación del Alguacil de Imperial Beach al (619) 498-2400.
