Investigators from the Valley Center Sheriff's Substation and San Diego County Crime Stoppers are asking for the public’s help in identifying and locating a man suspected of assault with a deadly weapon, vandalism and child abuse. 

On November 5, 2025 around 4:30 p.m., an unknown suspect confronted two juveniles at a pond near the intersection of Valley Center Road and Irish Oaks Road in Valley Center. The suspect brandished a knife and chased the juveniles.

 
Additionally, the suspect destroyed a fishing pole and slashed four tires on a vehicle belonging to the victims. The total property damage is valued at approximately $1,300.

During the incident, the suspect provided a fictitious name of “Hector Zeroni.” 

 
Take a good look at these photos. The suspect is described as a White man, approximately 25 to 35-years-old and wearing a black shirt, tan pants and brown work boots.

Anyone with information on the identity or location of the suspect is asked to call the Valley Center Sheriff’s Substation at (760) 751-4400.

Agresión Con Arma Mortal - Valley Center

Los investigadores solicitan la ayuda del público para identificar al sospechoso.

Los investigadores de la Subestación del Alguacil de Valley Center y de Crime Stoppers del Condado de San Diego solicitan la ayuda del público para identificar y localizar a un hombre sospechoso de agresión con arma mortal, vandalismo y abuso infantil.

El 5 de Noviembre de 2025, alrededor de las 4:30 p.m., un sospechoso desconocido se enfrentó a dos menores en un estanque cerca de la intersección de Valley Center Road e Irish Oaks Road en Valley Center. El sospechoso blandió un cuchillo y persiguió a los menores.

Además, el sospechoso destruyó una caña de pescar y pinchó cuatro neumáticos de un vehículo perteneciente a las víctimas. Los daños a la propiedad ascienden a aproximadamente $1,300.

Durante el incidente, el sospechoso proporcionó un nombre falso: "Hector Zeroni".
