On Monday, March 2, 2026, at approximately 1:50 p.m., deputies from the San Diego County Sheriff's Office, Santee Station responded to multiple 9-11 calls reporting a collision at North Magnolia Avenue and the on-ramp to State Route 67/52.
Upon arrival, deputies located the motorcyclist on the grassy embankment adjacent to the roadway suffering from severe injuries. A bystander, along with responding deputies, rendered immediate aid and applied a tourniquet to control bleeding. The motorcyclist sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local trauma center for treatment. The driver of the pickup truck remained at the scene and was evaluated and treated by emergency medical personnel.
Drugs and/or alcohol are suspected to be contributing factors in this collision.

Accidente con lesiones graves – Santee
Un accidente grave de tráfico con lesiones que involucra una motocicleta y una camioneta pickup está actualmente bajo investigación en la ciudad de Santee
El lunes 2 de marzo de 2026, aproximadamente a la 1:50 p.m., agentes de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de San Diego, Santee Station, respondieron a múltiples llamadas al 9-11 que informaban de una colisión en North Magnolia Avenue y la rampa de acceso a la Ruta Estatal 67/52.
A su llegada, los agentes localizaron al motorista en el terraplén de césped adyacente a la carretera, sufriendo graves heridas. Un testigo, junto con los agentes que acudieron, prestaron ayuda inmediata y aplicaron un torniquete para controlar la hemorragia. El motorista sufrió heridas que pusieron en peligro su vida y fue trasladado a un centro de trauma local para recibir tratamiento. El conductor de la camioneta permaneció en el lugar y fue evaluado y atendido por personal médico de emergencia.
Se sospecha que las drogas y/o el alcohol son factores que contribuyen a esta colisión.
