On Monday, June 1st, at approximately 10:24 p.m. Deputies with the North Coastal Sheriff's Station responded to a report of a solo vehicle rollover collision near the 1900 block of Jimmy Durante Boulvard in the City of Del Mar.

Preliminary information indicates that an unidentified adult male driving a 2014 Mercedes SUV veered off the road and collided with some construction equipment, causing the vehicle to roll over.  Despite lifesaving measures, the driver succumbed to his injuries on scene.  The cause of the collision is still under investigation.  The North Coastal Traffic Division is handling the investigation.  It is unknown at this time if drugs or alcohol were a factor in the collision.

Colisión Fatal – Del Mar

Colisión con vuelco de vehículo bajo investigación.

El lunes 1 de junio, aproximadamente a las 22:24 horas, Los Oficiales del Alguacil de la Estación del sheriff de North Coastal respondieron a un informe de una colisión de volcadura de vehículo en solitario cerca de la manzana 1900 de Jimmy Durante Boulvard, en la ciudad de Del Mar.

La información preliminar indica que un hombre adulto no identificado que conducía un SUV Mercedes de 2014 se salió de la carretera y chocó contra maquinaria de construcción, provocando que el vehículo volcara.  A pesar de las medidas para salvar vidas, el conductor sucumbió a sus heridas en el lugar.  La causa de la colisión sigue siendo investigada.  La División de Tráfico de la Costa Norte está a cargo de la investigación.  Por el momento se desconoce si las drogas o el alcohol fueron factores en la colisión.
