Homicide Investigation - Solana Beach

SUSPECT: Jade Sasha Janks, 37-years-old

 The following information is fragmentary and has not been completely verified. It is based, in part, on hearsay and is intended for early information use rather than being a formal investigative report. 

On January 1, 2021, in the afternoon hours, Sheriff's deputies responded to 100 block of Nardo Avenue in Solana Beach to check the welfare of an adult male. Due to the circumstances, the Sheriff's Homicide Unit responded and assumed responsibility of the investigation. Detectives obtained a search warrant for the Nardo Avenue residence and subsequently found the body of the adult male.

Detectives have arrested the female who lives at the residence, thirty-seven-year-old Jade Sasha Janks, for the murder of the male. Janks was booked into Vista Detention Facility for one count of 187(a) PC – Murder.

The identity of the male is known to investigators; however, his name is being withheld pending family notification.
