MILITARY PERSONNEL
- If you are stationed in San Diego, you may apply for a CCW as a resident of San Diego County. You are not eligible to apply as a Non-Resident
PREPARE FOR YOUR NON-RESIDENT CCW INTERVIEW
- Download Microsoft Teams. You will be sent a Teams meeting link for the interview
- At your appointment time, staff will review your application, documents and answer any questions you have
- Print this PC26180 form - sign and date then upload as a Supporting Document in your CCW Pro account
FINGERPRINTS
PASSPORT-STYLE PHOTO
- Upload a passport-style photo (see size requirements by clicking here) to your CCW Pro account and mail us the original
- Do not upload a photo of your passport for this requirement

Copy of your membership card
*If the address on your driver's license doesn't match your CCW application, you must upload one recent monthly proof of residence, such as a utility bill, mortgage statement, etc. showing your current address
THINGS TO MAIL TO US
- Passport-style photo
- Ink fingerprint card (must be completely filled out)
- $93 check made out to the Department of Justice
MAIL TO: San Diego Sheriff's Office, Attn: Licensing CCW NR, P.O. Box 939062, San Diego, CA 92193-9062
AFTER THE INTERVIEW

If approved, you will be required to successfully complete a course of training approved by the San Diego Sheriff's Office and upload the CCW Qualification Certificate and signed Issuance letter to your CCW Pro account

IMPORTANT: Send an email to CCW@sdsheriff.org letting us know you have uploaded the CCW Qualification Certificate and signed Issuance letter. If you miss this step, processing will be delayed

Log into CCW Pro and make your final issuance payment
If the above has been done successfully, you will receive your CCW in the mail in approximately 4 weeks.
