The San Diego County Sheriff's Office annually assembles a Bail Bond Agency List. The list is posted in all our county detention facilities and on the Jail Information on our public website.

Applications will be accepted in April and November of each year.  All agencies must resubmit their applications regardless of their current status on our list. Applications will be accepted for a period of 30 days.

The San Diego County Sheriff's Office will accept requests for placement on the Bail Bond Agency List from November 1 through November 30, 2025. Approved agencies will be published in January 2026.

Our list is now closed; we are no longer accepting requests to be placed on the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office - Bail Bond Agency List. Approved requests will be published in January 2026.

Requests for submission will reopen on April 1st, 2026 and close on April 30th, 2026 for agencies wanting to be placed on the 2026 listing.

The Bail Bond Agency List will be listed in alphabetical order by Bail Bond Agency Name/DBA and will include county, city, and telephone number information.

The list will be posted in our county detention facilities and will also be available on the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office website

Bail bonds must still be delivered in-person to any custody information office located at any San Diego County Sheriff's Office Detention Facility.

***Due to a recent change in the phone system provider for our incarcerated population, calls from inside our detention facilities are coming from the number 727-349-1561.  It has come to our attention some mobile carriers are identifying this number in their spam settings and calls from incarcerated persons may be filtered out.  To ensure you receive these calls, please program this number into your phone or contact your phone provider to unblock this number.  We are working toward additional solutions and will post any additional changes here. ***
