Commitment

The San Diego County Sheriff's Office is committed to providing a website that meets World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1), Level A and AA, and is accessible to the broadest possible audience.  This aligns with 28 C.F.R. § 35.200-205.

The Sheriff's Office website is designed to work with assistive technology and follow guidelines for readability, contrast, and other aspects of accessible display. We use a web accessibility tool that aims to adhere as strictly as possible to the W3C WCAG 2.1, Level A and AA. The accessibility interface allows users to adjust the website’s user interface and design it to their personal needs.
